As a concert cellist and passionate educator, my relationship with music is one of commitment — to composers, to audiences, and to my students.
I want my love for music to be felt both on stage and in the classroom. My aim is to connect with audiences and with the young performers who trust in my technique and my vision of music as a medium for communication and social transformation.
The foundation of my teaching is a solid and conscious technique, one that equips students with the necessary tools to develop with both freedom and discipline. I conceive the cello as an extension of the human voice — warm and intimate — and we work to cultivate that warmth in order to achieve a sound that is beautiful, profound, and deeply personal.
I always work with a clear musical purpose, placing special emphasis on body awareness and technical control: I want the student to be fully conscious of every detail in what they interpret and communicate. I teach how to overcome technical challenges clearly and precisely, with the ultimate goal of achieving the fullest expression of the music.
This journey requires method, consistency, and a holistic approach to instrumental practice, where the connection between body, mind, and emotion is essential to reach a profound and authentic interpretation.
I encourage young musicians to preserve tradition while also developing their own artistic voice, understanding music as a powerful tool for communication, cultural exchange, and social transformation. That’s why I believe technical development must go hand in hand with a broad artistic vision and a deep commitment to the world around us.
