In April 2023, Roger Morelló made his US debut with violinist Katerina Chatzinikolau and pianist Tobias Haunhorst at the Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa (Florida), where they premiered "Founders Trio", which gives its name to the album. Other works from the CD were premiered at the concert and this led to the recording of the integral chamber music of the American composer John D. Gottsch. A musical journey inspired by the wonderful landscapes of the North American coast.
